Caroline Knapp was a journalist, author, and one of the first women to openly talk about her struggles with alcoholism, which she did with the utmost candor and eloquence in the bestselling 1996 memoir, “Drinking: A Love Story.”
Her book is full of amazing quotes, but I'll only quickly highlight a few here:
