Zig Ziglar, a notable figure in the field of motivational speaking, began his career as a salesman with the WearEver Cookware company in Lancaster, South Carolina, in 1947. Despite having dropped out of college, Ziglar's diligence and dedication to his work led to his promotion to field manager and then to divisional supervisor in 1950.

Just as a person striving for sobriety faces challenges and obstacles, Ziglar encountered setbacks in his journey.
